Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester seeks an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Special Assistant to serve in her Washington, D.C. office. The Special Assistant will serve as the Senator’s driver; be responsible for taking the Senator to events and meetings in Washington, D.C.; and staff the Senator at various on- and off-campus events and official duties.
The Special Assistant will report to the Director of Scheduling and work with the entire team to ensure the Senator’s schedule runs smoothly. The Special Assistant must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record and may be required to work extended and unscheduled hours, including nights, weekends and holidays. Access to a vehicle is required.
