If you are planning a visit to our nation’s capital, Senator Blunt Rochester’s office is here to help! Our team can help you set up tours of the United States Capitol Building, the White House, and the FBI Building.

Please see below for more information on how you can book tours for the Library of Congress, Supreme Court, and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.

We can also provide information about many open monuments, museums, memorials and other attractions that do not require you to request tours through our office.

United States Capitol

The Capitol Visitor Center is open to visitors with tour reservations from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday except for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and on Inauguration Day.

All tours are led by professional tour guides and visit the Crypt, the Rotunda and National Statuary Hall. The tour route is subject to change.

Advanced reservations are not required, but are strongly recommended for all visitors.

Please Note: The tour route does NOT include the Senate or House Gallery. You can pick up gallery passes from Senator Blunt Rochester’s office during standard business hours. The gallery is open when the Senate is in session and is typically open 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, when the Senate is out of session.

White House

The White House offers self-guided tours that last approximately 30 minutes. Tours are generally available 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday as well as 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday through Saturday (excluding Federal holidays or unless otherwise noted).

White House tour requests are made through your Member of Congress, and should be submitted as soon as possible. White House tour requests may be submitted up to 90 days in advance of your requested tour date. The number of tickets distributed by the White House each day is limited, and submitting a request does NOT guarantee a tour.

If approved, the White House will assign a tour time that cannot be changed. Further, guests cannot be added or changed after your RSVP is completed and confirmed.

Although rare, White House tours can be subject to last minute cancellations and rescheduling.

Library of Congress

The Library of Congress is one of the oldest research institutions in the country. It hosts an impressive collection of books, manuscripts, maps, photographs and other original historical documents. One of the Library’s primary goals is to make this information readily available to both the general public and Members of Congress. Visit the library to learn about the history, architecture, and collections of America’s oldest cultural institutions.

Supreme Court

The Supreme Court, which houses our nation’s highest court, inspires visitors with the words: “Equal Justice Under Law” inscribed above its main entrance. Seating for the oral argument sessions will be provided to the public, members of the Supreme Court Bar, and press. The Supreme Court Building will otherwise be closed to the public on days when the Court is in session.

The Supreme Court Building is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is closed on weekends and all federal holidays. Admission is free. Visitors may view the public portions of the building on a self-guided basis and take advantage of a variety of educational programs, including Courtroom Lectures, and Court-related Exhibitions.

Visit the FBI

Through interactive multimedia exhibits, content, and artifacts, you’ll learn how the FBI operates in the field, at Headquarters, and within communities across the country. The rich experience tells the story of the FBI’s internal operations and history, providing insight into the organization’s investigative divisions, laboratory resources, professional occupations, and more.

FBI tours are available Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, at the following times: 9:00 AM, 10:30 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:30 PM, and 3:00 PM .

Tours are approximately 90 minutes long and self-guided. 

Please Note: All visitors must be U.S. citizens or valid green-card holders and all visitors 16 and older must present REAL ID compliant photo ID. Finally, all tours must be boked at least one month prior to the desired tour date.

Bureau of Engraving & Printing

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) tour is an approximately 45-minute guided experience that allows visitors to witness millions of U.S. dollars being printed from an enclosed gallery. The tour experience begins with an introductory film and continues with a real-time guided experience exploring currency production from an enclosed walkway suspended above the production floor.

Tours run Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. The last tour starts at 2 p.m.

Extended Spring and Summer tour hours run March 23 through September 4, 2026. The last tour starts at 4 p.m. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing is closed for tours on federal holidays.
